US Democrats drafting legislation to remove ban on Online Gambling
We just heard that the Democrats are drafting a legislation to remove the ban on online gambling. WOW, this would be very good for the industry.
Representative Barney Frank (a critic of the ban) said that he would like the legislation to be passed, as it could raise more than $50 billion through Taxes, if they were regulated.
His words were "I'm going to be pushing it”
This legislation was passed 3 years ago, even though people complained that it would be very hard if not impossible to regulate.
This is what he said.
| "The existing legislation is an inappropriate interference on the personal freedom of Americans and this interference should be undone" |
